Broken front teeth — Boy

Concern

This 10 year old boy fractured both upper permanent front teeth while playing. Luckily, the fractures were below the level of the tooth nerves.

Solution

The teeth were restored with composite resin. The repaired teeth look longer than the surrounding teeth because the two front teeth are fully erupted, whereas the surrounding teeth are still emerging.
