The expression of beauty has always attracted me. My experience as a fashion model, dancer and medical illustrator refined my understanding of how important form, movement and design are in creating a lovely radiant smile.

This experience also heightened my sensitivity to the emotional dimension of oral enhancement, particularly in the performing arts.

A core value of Oris extends from my strong personal conviction that science works best in the service of natural beauty. From my earliest days at New York University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Studio Art, I was committed to finding a meaningful union of science and aesthetics. Even during my doctoral program at the University of Maryland’s Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, I sustained my connection with art by producing medical illustrations for various publications. That was until I began learning about cosmetic dentistry and it became clear to me how my twin passions could merge in a single pursuit.
