Dr. Lorna Flamer-Caldera
holds a Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Maryland’s Baltimore College of Dental Surgery (the world's first dental college) with special internships in oral surgery and pediatric dentistry. She completed a general practice residency at the Long Island College Hospital. Doctor Flamer-Caldera is a Fellow of: the International Academy of Dental-Facial Esthetics1; the American College of Dentistry2 (past Chair of the NY and North Atlantic chapter); the International College of Dentists3; and the Academy of General Dentistry4 (for which she has served as a national spokesperson and President of its NY State component). Dr. Flamer-Caldera is now General Chair of the Greater New York Dental Meeting, the largest dental congress in North America.
Each year Dr. Flamer-Caldera completes numerous continuing education courses above the state-mandated levels. These cover a broad range of relevant subjects including prosthodontics, implantology, nutrition, sleep apnea, homeopathy and botox, among many others. Her Bachelor of Science is from New York University.
Dr. Flamer-Caldera was previously Assistant Professor at the City of New York’s Department of Dental Hygiene where she taught Pharmacology, Emergency Medicine and Sedation. She now lectures on those subjects at a number of international symposia.

Dr. Thema Hepburn
Before earning her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, and completing her general practice residency at NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn, Dr. Hepburn spent 10 years as a dental office manager and hygienist, after she attained an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene and a Bachelor of Science in Health Administration from New York City College of Technology. This path has enabled her to optimize the patient experience through a holistic approach that incorporates a comprehensive assessment of her patients’ oral condition and aesthetic desires into highly individualized treatment plans for each patient. Dr. Hepburn rounds out her qualifications with certifications that authorize her to administer Invisalign™ orthodontic therapies, sleep apnea appliances, aesthetic and TMD injectable therapeutics like Botox™, as well as the dermal fillers Restylane™ and Juvéderm™. Dr Hepburn brings this all together in her delivery of dental care that is compassionate, gentle and thorough.
Her volunteer work includes providing pro bono dental treatment to survivors of domestic violence and residents of underprivileged communities. As an active committee member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association, Dr Hepburn also participates on expert educational panels at the Greater New York Dental Meeting and has served as an alternate delegate to the NY State Dental Association’s House of Delegates.
