Lorna Flamer-Caldera holds a Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Maryland with special externships in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery. She completed a general practice residency at The Long Island College Hospital. Dr. Flamer-Caldera is a Fellow of the American College of Dentistry1, the International Academy of Dental Facial Esthetics2 , and the Academy of General Dentistry3 for which she has served as President of the New York State division of the Academy.

  • New York State Dental Association
  • New York County Dental Society
  • New Heights Study Club
  • Second District Dental Society

Each year Dr. Flamer-Caldera completes numerous continuing education courses above the state mandated levels. These cover a broad range of relevant subjects including prosthodontics, implantology, nutrition, homeopathy and pharmacology among many others. Her Bachelor of Science is from New York University.

Most recently, Dr Flamer-Caldera was appointed as Assistant Professor, City University of New York where she lectures on Pharmacology and Sedation at the New York College of Technology’s dental hygiene program.

Kristol Maxwell , RDH Our patients frequently comment in amazement on what an exceptionally gentle touch Kristol has in their hygiene appointments. As a graduate of the NYC College of Technology’s prestigious dental hygiene program, Kristol is highly competent in all the methods that can be applied to advance her patients’ oral hygiene and dental health.
